Orry refuses to shake hands with content creator, threatens legal action after her video

Orry is currently engaged in a verbal spat with creator Ruchika Lohiya

Orry has threatened legal action against a content creator whose hand he refused to shake at an event after she shared a video calling him out. Content creator Ruchika Lohiya posted a now-viral Instagram video in which she claimed she met Orry at said event, but the internet-famous personality refused to shake her hand in front of hundreds of spectators, leaving her embarrassed.

Lohiya’s Instagram video has collected 3.7 million views since being shared two days ago. In the clip, Lohiya says she went to a glamorous event where she got to see several celebrities. Orry, whom she described as an “internet sensation,” was also there.

Lohiya claims she walked up to Orry and told him how she loves his work. The influencer, in turn, thanked her. However, Orry’s manager intervened to ask Lohiya not to click pictures – “which I respected,” she said. While leaving, she claims she offered Orry her hand to shake.

Instead of shaking her hand, Orry “very reluctantly” offered her a fist bump. “He couldn’t even touch my hand,” Lohiya says in her video.

Orry himself took to the comments section to clarify some things. He said that refused to shake hands with Lohiya because “I don’t know what germs and s**t your hand carries.”

“I am always happy to meet fans and friends, when the time permits, shoving your way to me at a public event, passing my security and disrespecting my manager, you yet got close to me and politely greeted you, don’t expect strangers to touch you, you got a friendly fist bump but event that's not enough,” he wrote, calling Lohiya a “clout chaser” several times in different comments.

In a separate comment, he claimed that he had initiated legal action against Lohiya for defaming him. “I will be filing a defamation case immediately. Legal has already been notified. Cctv will also be pulled,” he wrote.

Orry, real name Orhan Awatramani, has shot to internet fame over the last few months for his proximity to Bollywood stars, his outlandish publicity stunts and frequent appearances on paparazzi pages and talk shows.
