Billionaire Miriam Adelson recently made headlines after she reportedly bought a majority stake in US basketball team Dallas Mavericks from fellow billionaire investor investor Mark Cuban.

The award is the nation's highest civilian honor that is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the United States of America.
10.) Adelson reportedly met the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party Nikki Haley in Las Vegas, as well as former President Donald Trump recently.
