Kanika Raina, a digital marketing manager, shared the brief conversation on LinkedIn after applying for leave from August 12 to August 14. The dates were set to align with the Independence Day holiday on August 15 and the weekend of and August 16 and 17, effectively giving her an extended break.

Her manager, Saurabh Gupta, not only approved the request but also added a personal note that she described as uplifting. “Leave approved. Enjoy your trip to the fullest. Don’t take unnecessary stress. We will manage in your absence. Cheers,” his message read.

Raina wrote in her post that working in an environment which genuinely supports its staff makes a significant difference. “We often hear ‘We’ve got your back’ in offices, but very few teams actually live by it,” she observed.
