Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is likely to speak at a public event and address her health concerns, a report in The Times said. A royal source told the newspaper that Kate may speak about her ongoing recovery during her public engagements.
"I can see a world in which the princess might discuss her recovery out on engagements. If she was going to do it, that's how she would do it. I would expect that to be her instinct and it will be her call. They're not going to be rushed," the source told the newspaper.
Kate has not been seen in public ever since she underwent abdominal surgery in January, which raised speculation about her health.
An announcement on January 17 by the Kensington Palace office said that Kate had been admitted to The London Clinic the previous day for a "planned abdominal surgery". The announcement said that Kate had undergone a successful surgery and was expected to remain in hospital for 10-14 days.
"She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible and her wish that her personal medical information remains private," the statement said.
