Renowned for her charm and talent, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor, a prominent figure in Bollywood, is now poised to make waves in the south Indian film industry with her debut in the Telugu movie Devara. While her cameo appearance in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya showcased her versatility, her upcoming venture alongside Jr NTR in Koratala Siva's Devara marks a significant milestone in her career.

Initially slated for release on April 5, the film's premiere date has been subject to change. Moreover, speculations abound regarding Kapoor's potential involvement in Ram Charan's RC 16, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Recent reports suggest a substantial increase in Kapoor's fees for these projects, with figures soaring from 5 crores to a staggering Rs 10 crore for Devara, according to sources cited by Deccan Chronicle.

In addition to her demand for Devara, Kapoor purportedly commands an impressive fee of Rs 6 crore for the tentatively titled RC 16, signaling a remarkable escalation compared to her previous earnings in the Hindi film industry. While Kapoor and her team have refrained from confirming these figures, her assertive stance underscores her confidence in her craft and value as an actress.

As Kapoor gears up for her south film industry debut, her strategic negotiations reflect not only her growing stature in the industry but also her unwavering belief in her abilities. With each bold move, Kapoor continues to redefine her place in the cinematic landscape, poised to captivate audiences on a regional scale.

RC 16 the film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings. The film is said to be having Kannada actor Shivarajkumar in a pivotal role. AR Rahman will be composing music for this film which is made against the backdrop of a sport. The makers are currently auditioning in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and the pre-production is in place. The film will go on floors soon.
