Students at Kutztown University received a startling warning on Sunday, urging them to exercise caution and avoid any contact with the potentially dangerous bovine. The Kutztown Police Department issued an alert, explicitly instructing individuals to stay away from the cow.

"The animal is not safe to approach," the warning emphasized, underscoring the potential threat posed by the free-roaming creature.

The alert, titled "Avoid North Campus: Aggressive Cow - DO NOT APPROACH," was dispatched by the police department after they were notified of the cow's presence around 7:15 pm that evening, New York Post reported.

Witnesses in the area captured footage of the cow trotting through town, seemingly disoriented and aimlessly wandering. The animal's unfamiliarity with the surroundings raised concerns among officials, who quickly mobilised to address the situation.

Following the incident, the Kutztown Police Department issued a follow-up notice around 9:00 pm on the same night, providing reassurance to the community.

They confirmed that the cow was no longer in the vicinity of the campus, alleviating concerns about any further threats to public safety. However, the animal's whereabouts remained unknown, as it was last spotted in the Fleetwood area.
