Puducherry Movement for the Welfare of Freedom Fighters has announced that its members would observe a day`s fast near the assembly building here on March 28, the day when budget session is scheduled to commence.
Convenor of the Movement D Sivaraj told reporters that the fast was aimed at urging the administration to review the list of beneficiaries of the state pension scheme as genuine freedom fighters had been left out of the scheme despite repeated representations to the government by the freedom fighters.
