Rahul Krishnan, co-founder of Bold Care, recently shared an amusing encounter with a condom manufacturer that quickly caught the attention of social media users. Known for the company’s viral advertisement featuring Johnny Sins and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, Krishnan’s latest post has added another layer of humour to the brand's public persona.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Krishnan recounted an incident where a new condom manufacturer visited his office to deliver a large box of samples. Later that same day, the manufacturer texted him to inquire if he had already tested the products. “A new condom manufacturer came to our office today and gave me a huge box of samples at 2:30 pm, then texted me at 5 pm to ask if I tried them?” Krishnan shared in his post.

Krishnan later clarified that the condoms undergo rigorous testing at the manufacturing facility, highlighting that multiple tests are conducted to ensure product quality. "The condoms are testing rigorously at the manufacturing facility - there are multiple tests that they go through," the founder wrote while replying to a user.
Despite this assurance, the manufacturer’s eagerness to receive feedback on the same day struck a chord with social media users, who responded with a mix of amusement and surprise.
The post quickly gained traction and went viral in no time. Commenters were quick to join in on the joke, with one user quipping, “I mean, even if you tried and they didn’t work, you won’t find out for another 4-8 weeks, right.” Another user remarked, “Should have asked them, how do you want to get it tested in office hours?”
"You should have asked them to send someone who could help you test those," a third user joked.
This lighthearted exchange is yet another example of the marketing approach that has characterised Bold Care’s public image. Earlier this year, the company garnered widespread attention with a parody advertisement that cleverly addressed issues of sexual health. The ad featured a dramatic family argument in the style of a typical Indian soap opera, with Johnny Sins and Ranveer Singh taking on the roles of traditionally dressed family members. The commercial was praised for its humorous yet effective approach to raising awareness about men's sexual health.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is also the co-owner of sexual-health brand Bold Care.
