The OnePlus Watch 2 finally kept its date. It marks a return to the smartwatch space for OnePlus after almost three years. The OnePlus Watch was priced around Rs 15,000 at launch and was powered by a custom OS. The OnePlus Watch 2 calls this ‘Your Partner in Time’ and it is a significant upgrade over its predecessor. OnePlus Watch 2 design: the OnePlus Watch 2 shares the same design language with the OnePlus 12 series. It takes cues from the distinctive K-shaped design of the OnePlus 12 series. The OnePlus Watch 2 features a round watch face that echoes the series' camera deco.

The IP68 resistant rating and 5ATM water resistance ensure it’s ready for the pool.

OnePlus Watch 2 OS: this is a big change from its predecessor. The OnePlus Watch 2 is powered with the latest version of Wear OS and comes with popular Google apps like Maps, Assistant, and Calendar, plus support for more third-party apps.

OnePlus Watch 2 speed and power: speed is OnePlus’ calling card. This wearable features OnePlus’s self-developed Dual-Engine architecture powered by two different flagship chipsets — the Snapdragon W5 performance chipset and the BES 2700 MCU Efficiency chipset. The BES2700 Efficiency Chipset runs RTOS and handles background activity and simple tasks, while the Snapdragon W5 wakes for powerful tasks, like running your favourite Google apps. One Plus claims that the OnePlus Watch 2 can offer up to 100 hours of regular use with all functionalities accessible in Smart Mode, or up to 48 hours with heavy use.

For active lifestyles: fitness features available through the companion app – Ohealth, include tracking modes for more than 100 sports. Using the running tracking mode, wearers can also track data such as ground contact time, ground balance, and VO2 max.

The OnePlus Watch 2 also offers detailed sleep tracking and analysis, and monitors stress levels.
