Nothing Ear, Ear (a) TWS earbuds launched with ChatGPT support in India: Prices, availability, and more

After weeks of teasers, Nothing has launched its two new TWS earbuds worldwide today, at its Community Q1 2024 event. The Nothing Ear and Ear (a) come in Nothing’s signature transparent design with Nothing branding on the stems.

Nothing Ear, Ear (a): Price and offers

The Nothing Ear has been priced at Rs 11,999, whereas the Nothing Ear (a) is available for Rs 7,999. Both TWS earbuds are available for pre-order from today and will go on sale from April 22. Nothing Ear will be available in Black and White colour option, whereas the Ear (a) will get the new Yellow colour along with the Black and White options.

Additionally, both TWS earbuds will be available from Flipkart, Croma, and Vijay Sales. As a part of introductory offers, the Nothing Ear will be available for Rs 10,999, whereas the Ear (a) for Rs 5,999 for a limited amount of time.

Nothing Ear, Ear (a): Specifications and features

The Nothing Ear is the more premium offering between the two and features Nothing’s most advanced driver system to date. It has 11 mm dynamic drivers, a dual chamber design, and two additional vents for improved airflow and clearer sound.

These TWS earbuds also support high-resolution LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codecs, with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support. The Ear also has an Adaptive ANC feature which automatically applies three different noise cancellation levels, based on the surroundings.

Nothing also claims 40.5 hours of playback on a full charge with the case. Without the case, the earbuds offer 8.5 hours of playback. It also has 2.5W wireless charging support and ten minutes of charging can offer ten hours of listening time with the case.  Buyers also get in-ear detection, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair support.

Nothing Ear (a) has a slimmer frame with softer edges. Like the Ear TWS earbuds, this one also comes with ANC support up to 45dB and different ANC profiles, and 11mm dynamic drivers. It offers up to 42.5 hours of music playback with the case on but lacks wireless charging.

There’s quick charge support with the Ear(a), and a 10-minute charge can provide up to 10 hours of audio playback. Nothing has integrated Nothing earbuds and Nothing OS with ChatGPT to offer users instant access to the AI chatbot.
