EaseMyTrip has teamed up with Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited to provide integrated travel and expense management solutions to its corporate clients, the travel tech platform said in an exchange filing.

Through this partnership, EaseMyTrip's corporate clients will gain seamless access to Zaggle's EMS platform, which offers end-to-end travel and expense management solutions. This includes booking flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements, as well as managing the expense process incurred during travel.

On February 20, Zaggle Prepaid scaled record high after it announced a three-year agreement with EaseMyTrip.

The integration of travel booking functionality with expense reporting capabilities will streamline workflows, ensure compliance with corporate policies, and provide real-time visibility into travel expenditure. This is particularly important, given the strong connection between corporate travel and the demand for robust expense management solutions.

Corporate travel is driving demand with increased travel volume, a focus on cost control, and a desire for improved traveller experiences. Modern expense management solutions, with user-friendly interfaces, mobile apps, and automated processes, are streamlining expense reporting and enhancing the overall travel experience for employees.

Expense management solutions are also enabling travel with policy compliance, centralised visibility, efficiency, automation, and data-driven insights. The integration of travel and expense (T&E) systems allows seamless data transfer between booking platforms and expense management systems, further streamlining the process.

As per industry estimates, the total expenditure made by Indian travellers is projected to hit $410 billion by 2030, making India the fourth-largest global spender. This represents a massive 173 percent rise over the pre-Covid period in 2019. Therefore, both EaseMyTrip and Zaggle are strategically positioned to capitalise on this burgeoning market.

"By combining our expertise in payment technology with EaseMyTrip's extensive network on travel, we are poised to deliver unparalleled value to our customers," Avinash Godkhindi, MD and CEO of Zaggle, said.
