Apple is reportedly considering launching its mixed reality headset 'Vision Pro' in China by May.
According to an IT Home report citing sources within the supply chain for the headset, the Vision Pro could make its way to China as early as April or May this year.

The sources also said that the device's registration with the Ministry of Information and Technology in the country was nearly complete. This is similar to a report by Bloomberg last month that said the headset was set to debut in China, Canada, and the UK following its February launch in the United States.
The IT Home report also said that Apple might run into a few problems in China, primarily due to Huawei owning the "Vision Pro" trademark in the country. This could mean Apple might launch the headset with a different name, which could be "Reality Pro".
Another problem it might face is that to compete with Apple's product, Huawei is also planning to launch its own headset later this year in China.

Apple is currently witnessing a slump in sales in China, dropping 13 percent in the quarter ending December 30, 2023.
“We are not happy with the decline, but we know China is the most competitive market in the world,” Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said in an interview with Bloomberg Television’s Emily Chang.
