Image and specifications of the quad-core LG X3 revealed

It appears that the launch of quad-core handsets may arrive sooner than expected. As per a report yesterday, HTC had sent out invites to a few tech websites, regarding a media event that is scheduled to take place on the 26th of February, 2012, just ahead of MWC. Since it is a major event, all indications point to a major product announcement, which could possibly be the world’s first quad-core smartphone, the HTC Edge. However, as per a report by Pocketnow, it appears that LG, too have jumped on the bandwagon and may possibly unveil a quad-core handset of their own before HTC.
