Japan’s 3-door Jimny gets two variants, a standard Kei car with a small 660cc engine and a Sierra with more cladding and a larger engine. This is the variant that is available internationally plainly as the Jimny.
The showcase was aimed at assessing the response of Indian customers to the fourth-generation model, Kenichi Ayukawa, MD & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said
Details on performance figures have not yet been released by Suzuki, but the Jimny is going to be available in a range of engine options and will be a perfectly capable off-roader just like its predecessors.
The fourth generation is expected to retain its ‘travel anywhere’ capability while going through a complete makeover in terms of looks.
