Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called up Rishabh Pant’s mother when the star wicketkeeper-batter was recuperating from the injuries he sustained in a car crash and had told doctors to treat him abroad if required. During an interaction with the T20 World Cup-winning cricketers the PM said he followed the social media posts of Pant, revealing his rehabilitation routine.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who met Pant at the hospital on Sunday, had said quoting the cricketer that he had lost control over his car while trying to avoid a pothole and something black on the road.
