RBI cancels licence of The Ananthasayanam Co-operative Bank

The RBI has granted licence to The Ananthasayanam Co-operative Bank dated December 19, 1987, to carry on banking business in India.
RBI cancels permit of Garha Co-operative Bank citing weak capital

The licence was cancelled on February 16, 2023, RBI said. As per the data submitted by the bank, about 98.4 percent of the depositors are entitled to receive full amount of their deposits from DICGC.
