Mygate has announced its entry into consumer electronics segment with the launch of its range of smart door locks.
The changes are primarily because several core employees from MyGate, like Suraj HS, manager of new initiatives, left to start Aurm, a bank locker security venture
The company, which helps gated communities manage their security and operations by digitising and automating manual tasks, has added 10,000 housing societies over the past year and grown its presence to 25,000 societies across more than 25 cities.
The partnership would enable users of MyGate's newly-launched property platform, MyGate Homes, to simultaneously list their properties on Housing.com.
The tie-up will help mitigate the risk due to novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, in the lives of ApnaComplex residents and ensure that supply of groceries and vegetables to apartments is not interrupted
"At present, we are managing two million check-ins every day and aiming at 20 million by end of 2020. The revenue will also increase in tandem with the expansion," MyGate CEO and co-founder Vijay Arisetty said.
The Bengaluru based startup, which began operations in 2016, said it had chalked out plans to secure over two million residences in seven cities over the next two years.
The startup has also partnered builders like Sobha, Prestige, Purvankara, Lodha, and others, for deployment of its solutions.
