Bengaluru-based software brand Mygate has announced its entry into the consumer electronics segment with the launch of Mygate Locks, its range of smart door locks. The Mygate Locks come in three variants—Lock SE, Lock Plus, and Lock Pro—and enable users to go completely keyless and remotely manage access to their home.
The Mygate Lock SE comes at a starting price of Rs 9,950, the Mygate Lock Plus at Rs 16,990, and the Mygate Lock Pro starts at Rs 23,990. The Mygate locks are available to all consumers across India, on the Mygate website, app and Amazon.com.
Mygate Locks: Key features
The Mygate Locks are operated and managed by an app developed completely by Mygate. They can be integrated with the existing Mygate app in gated communities. The smart door locks can be bought and operated by anyone outside Mygate communities as well.

3. Remote Unlock Capability: Mygate locks help you control your door remotely, from the office or on holiday, via a quick OTP.
4. Recurring Access: You can create accesses that work for fixed timings you define for regular visitors or domestic help.
5. Password & Security: Mygate locks offer support for up to 100 fingerprints and 150 passwords.
6. ISO-certified locks: The Mygate locks are also ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001-certified.
7. End-to-end data encryption: Mygate offers end-to-end data encryption with its smart door locks.
8. Installation and Warranty: Includes free installation, a 3-year warranty and a 10-year service guarantee.
Mygate says that its solutions are designed keeping the convenience of residents in mind and that they store all the data on secure servers within the country. The company plans to develop a comprehensive ecosystem of smart home products.
