Marathi must in Maharashtra government offices; non-compliance to face action

Government offices, including central agencies and banks operating in Maharashtra, must ensure that signboards, officer names, and application forms are in Marathi.

Earlier this month, MNS had launched the ‘No Marathi, No Amazon’ campaign and threatened to ban the multinational company if it did not comply. Following which, Amazon India had dragged the party to court.
