Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day celebrations from the Red Fort, said that the situation in the violence-hit Manipur is improving and urged people of the northeastern state to build on the peace restored there. The PM said the entire nation is with Manipur and the Centre and the state government are making every effort to find a solution and will continue to do so. “Path for solution in Manipur will be found through peace,” he said.
