The controversy traces back to late 2021 when the founders of Saarthi and Classplus first engaged. In October of that year, an acquisition proposal was presented, with seemingly advantageous terms for Saarthi.

The development comes a month after Unacademy's Gaurav Munjal took a dig at the valuation of ClassPlus, a direct competitor of Graphy, currently valued at $500 million.
"We believe one can only understand their business and numbers well enough. Others can only speculate. And hence, we don’t like to look down upon anyone," Classplus' founder told Moneycontrol.
The financing round valued the Noida-based startup at close to $600 million, more than double its previous valuation when it had raised $65 million Series C funding in June 2021
The platform charges subscription fees, which starts from Rs 15,000 and can grow upto Rs 50,000, depending on the services required, according to Rustagi.
