Commonwealth Games, Day 5 | Indian medal winners in Birmingham

India won its first ever Lawn Bowls gold medal at Commonwealth Games. The history-making Women's Four comprising Rupa Rani Tirkey, Lovely Choubey, Pinki and Nayanmoni Saikia stunned South Africa 17-10 after 15 Ends in the final to secure the victory at Birmingham 2022. India has so far won 13 medals and is placed sixth in the Commonwealth Games 2022 medals tally.
