Hours after Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court dismissed all charges against former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and several others in the excise policy case, the AAP chief said court's verdict is testimony to his clean image and the case was politically motivated to destroy the party.

The AAP chief also challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop him now. "Only way to stop Arvind Kejriwal now is to kill him," remarked the AAP chief presenting a direct challenge to the Prime Minister. He also challenged the Prime Minister to conduct state elections and confidently remarked if BJP gets more than 10 seats in the polls, he will quit electoral politics.

“I have earned nothing in my life except honesty. When someone calls me dishonest, it hurts me. When I am sent to jail and my family is taunted, it affects me. It affects Kejriwal... You (PM Modi) filed so many cases against us. You unleashed the ED, the CBI, the police, and the Income Tax Department against us. You sent five of our top leaders to jail...The only way to stop Kejriwal was to have him killed, that eliminating him was the only option left, because nothing else could break him. You tried everything...” quipped the former Delhi CM

"Two people, PM Modi and Amit Shah, hatched this conspiracy to finish Aam Aadmi Party. Today, they should apologise to the country....I have only earned honesty, not money..." remarked the AAP convenor.

Earlier today, while pronouncing the order, Judge Singh reportedly observed that the investigation appeared to be built more on conjecture and narrative than on concrete evidence. He raised serious concerns about the reliance on statements of an approver who was previously an accused, cautioning that such dependence could violate constitutional principles.

Kejriwal emphasised that the court had found no material to proceed in the Delhi excise policy case. "Today, the court in its 600-page order has said that there is not the slightest evidence to even have a case in this matter," he said while the press.

He also expressed gratitude to the lawyers who represented him through the prolonged legal battle, saying their efforts were crucial in securing the outcome.
