A video clip of Pahalgam attack mastermind and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri openly spewing venom against India has surfaced on social media, saying that Pakistan will never back down from its "Kashmir mission".
In a recent gathering in Pakistan, Kasuri can be seen making open threats against India in a charged speech. The terrorist also falsely claimed that India has occupied millions of acres of "Pakistani territory", referring to the division of states and princely territories during the 1947 Partition.
"Let our own listen, let the outsiders listen, let the friends listen, let the enemies listen. Let those who impose restrictions listen, let those who create obstacles listen. Those who project us as terrorists, let them also listen. Let the whole world listen. The world can turn upside down, the system can be overturned, but today, in the presence of thousands of brothers and sisters, I declare that we will never backdown from our Kashmir mission," he said.
He then openly peddled misinformation by claiming that "Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Junagadh, Munavadar, Hyderabad Deccan, Bengal and millions of square acres of Pakistan's territory were taken from the country".
Earlier, in the same speech, the LeT terrorist referred to Operation Sindoor and recalled a meeting he attended in the presence of Lashkar chief and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed.
"Six months ago, we taught a lesson to our enemy (India). And we insulted them in such a way ... that one day I was present at Amir-e-Mohtaram's (Hafiz Saeed) Majlis (meeting) a month ago. One of our brothers asked that India continues to threaten Pakistan every day and how such threats should be viewed. To this, he responded that India is a 100-times bigger enemy. But Allah has taught them such a lesson and we have inflicted such extensive damage on them that India won't dare to even think of attacking us again for the next 50 years," he said.
Kasuri operates under the close guidance of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed. In an earlier such speech, he had accused India of "water terrorism", referring to the suspension of Indus Water Treaty (IWT).
He had claimed that New Delhi intentionally triggered the flooding in Pakistan through "uncontrolled water release."
Notably, he had earlier denied his role in the Pahalgam attack, accusing the Indian media of framing him.
On May 7, India retaliated with Operation Sindoor with the armed forces attacking nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK). This sparked an intense four-day military escalation between the two neighbours which ended after the Pakistani side reached out to India for a ceasefire.
