Pinga song fame singer Vaishali Made (who co-sung it with Shreya Ghoshal for the film Bajirao Mastani, 2015) says happiness is a feeling like no other. While she stressed that she is the most happy with her loved ones around her, she also said that music brings her joy like no other.

“Happiness is all about what you feel and where you find happiness. I feel happy when I am around my loved ones. It is important for me to be around the people who love me, and I love them. And of course, music is the cherry on top. Music has given me the utmost happiness in my life. I never thought about where music could take me. It has been getting better and better,” she said on the occasion of International Day Of Happiness.

But for her, happiness is not dependent on her career, but her career definitely is. “Career has a different feeling of happiness as you step up in the journey,” said the winner of Zee TV's reality series Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009.

And sharing the moments that brought her a lot of happiness, she said, “Like I could sit with Suresh Ji and talk to him. I never thought of sharing the stage with Himesh Reshammiya, never thought of being a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions, and never thought that I would be sitting as a judge on the show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi. And to celebrate every little occasion with family is the most important and gives me immense happiness. Also, when I sit for riyaaz. I forget everything. So that too gives me happiness.”

Vaishali knows how to strike a balance between personal and professional life and feels that happiness is connected to it.

“I feel that doing all the things together, especially for a woman, is quite difficult. To look after, home, husband, kids, maternal and paternal house. A career has never been the main priority. But now that things have changed and are changing more, women have started prioritising their goals, and careers with their families. It is a very good change. I feel that no matter how much a woman goes through, only a woman can do it, only she has the power to go through it and still do it altogether. I think I have done that balance with handling both families and careers together,” she says.
