Tata Motors touched an intraday high of Rs 1,217 and an intraday low of Rs 1,188. At 09:33 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 1,214, up Rs 69.35, or 6.06%.
The company has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,424 crore for the quarter ended December 2010, up 273% as compared to Rs 650 crore in same quarter the previous year, reports CNBC-TV18.
It was trading with volumes of 208,050 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 3.79% or Rs 41.75 at Rs 1,144.65.
