Coal India raises coal prices by 30%; stk jumps 10.5%

Coal India has increased coal prices by 30% w.e.f February 27, quoting Sources, reports CNBC-TV18. It touched an intraday high of Rs 323.95 and an intraday low of Rs 296.10. At 09:18 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 323.50, up Rs 30.85, or 10.54% on the NSE.

Coal India touched an intraday high of Rs 323.95 and an intraday low of Rs 296.10. At 09:18 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 323.50, up Rs 30.85, or 10.54% on the NSE.

The company has increased coal prices by 30% w.e.f February 27. The price hike will affect cement industry, sponge iron industry, quoting Sources, reports CNBC-TV18.
 
It was trading with volumes of 1,030,893 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 2.22% or Rs 6.65 at Rs 292.65.
