Reliance MET City launches 100-acre mixed-use project ‘Metropolis’ in Haryana

Reliance MET City, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd, has launched an integrated township project ‘Metropolis by MET City’ at Daryapur in Jhajjar district of Haryana, the company said.

The project is part of a 140-acre master-planned township, comprising residential plots, industrial plots and a future group-housing component. In the first phase, the company is launching around 100 acres, targeting individual homebuyers, investors and businesses seeking to establish operations within the Reliance MET City ecosystem.

Metropolis, which will be a large-scale integrated mixed-use development, will offer residential plots ranging from 112 square yards to 179 square yards, along with dedicated industrial plots. Residential plots at Metropolis are priced in the range of Rs 99,000 per square yard to Rs 1.10 lakh per square yard, the company said.

The project is being developed in two phases and is ready to move, allowing buyers and enterprises to commence construction immediately. In the first phase, only 100 acres have been launched and out of which 56 acres are reserved for industrial plots while 42 acres for residential plots, the company said.

Shrivallabh Goyal, CEO and Whole-Time Director, Reliance MET City, said the development aligns with the company’s vision of creating integrated urban ecosystems.

Model Economic Township Limited is developing the project on a self-funded basis, with all construction and infrastructure development being undertaken in-house.

Located at village Daryapur, the project is situated at the Delhi border and is five minutes from the KMP Expressway. It is also close to AIIMS Badsa, the upcoming Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor, and the proposed BCCI International Cricket Stadium. The location also offers connectivity to Gurugram and other key NCR hubs.

Reliance MET City is an 8,250-acre integrated smart city and global manufacturing hub located in Jhajjar district in Haryana. It is home to over 650 companies from 11 countries providing more than 40,000 jobs.
