Selling a large ticket in a single transaction can disturb your monthly budget. With SBI Card's Flexipay, customers can pay large purchases in small EMIs, giving them financial relief. It's a handy solution for payment management for travel bookings, electronics, and home appliances.
Understanding the Flexipay feature
Flexipay pays for purchases of ₹500 or more made in the past 30 days. All selected purchases amount to over ₹2,500 if added together. All of them can be clubbed into a single EMI plan. Based on what you have purchased and your profile, you can opt for a 3-36 month term.
Log in to the SBI Card mobile app, go to the Flexipay section, and look for eligible transactions. Choose which ones you want to convert, select a repayment period, and confirm the request.
Website access
If you are on a computer, go to www.sbicard.com and log in. Go to the Benefits tab, search for Flexipay, check your eligible transactions, choose a period, and complete the process.
Over the phone
Need to speak to a human? Call SBI Card customer care (1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 after STD code) and give your transaction information to request conversion.
Key points to keep in mind
There may be a processing fee levied. If you choose to pre-close the EMI scheme, pre-closure charges are leviable. The EMI amount will be deducted from your credit limit. Flexipay can be availed for only regular retail spends and not for such payments like cash withdrawals. The conversion would usually take five working days.
Flexipay is an effective way to make spending affordable. Always check interest rates, charges, and conditions before joining to ensure it is within your budget.
