Daiwa Mutual Fund has announced the change in fund manager of Fixed Income Schemes - Daiwa Liquid Fund, Daiwa Treasury Advantage Fund, and Daiwa Government Securities Fund-Short Term, with effect from April 19, 2013.
Pursuant to the resignation of Mr Amit Garg, fund manager-fixed income and key person of Daiwa AMC effective end of business hours of April 18, 2013, references to Mr Garg wherever appearing in the SAI/SID and KIM of the said schemes, stand deleted.
Mr Kumar Nathani, fund manager-fixed income, has been appointed as the fund manager and key person of Daiwa AMC effective April 19, 2013, who will manage the investments of the said schemes.
Mr Kumar Nathani is 48 years old with qualifications as M.Com, CFA (Hyderabad India-1991). Mr Kumar has more than 15 years of experience in the financial markets and mutual fund industry in particular. Apart from managing mutual fund schemes, he has also worked in the areas of retirement benefit funds and fixed income dealing. As a debt fund manager Mr Nathani has managed wide variety of schemes including liquid funds, bond fund and gilt funds. In the past he has been associated with UTI Mutual Fund, Taurus Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund. His last assignment was with IDBI Capital market Services as fund manager under PMS.
