Signature Global sets price band at Rs 366-385 for Rs 730 crore IPO

Signature Global’s public offer consists of a fresh issuance of shares worth Rs 603 crore from the company and an offer-for-sale of Rs 127 crore from the IFC.

    Signature Global has fixed the price band of its Rs 730 crore IPO at Rs 366-385 per share. The offer will open for subscription on September 20, 2023, and will end on September 22, 2023. The real-estate developer’s offer consists of a fresh issuance of shares worth Rs 603 crore from the company and an offer-for-sale of Rs 127 crore from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

    Investors can bid for a minimum of 38 shares and in multiples of 38 after that.  Hence the minimum investment by retail investors would be Rs 13,908 (38 (Lot size) x 366 (lower price band)). At the upper end, the bidding amount will increase to Rs 14,630.

    For the qualified institutional buyers (QIB) up to 75 percent of the issue size has been reserved, and up to 60 percent of it is reserved for anchor investors, who can book shares on September 18. The remaining 15 percent of the issue size is reserved for high-net-worth individuals and 10 percent for retail investors.

    Promoters hold 78.36 percent shares in Signature Global and the remaining 21.64 percent is held by public shareholders, including IFC, HCAR, DKL Broking & Infra LLP, and Credible Nivesh. ICICI Securities, Axis Capital, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company are the merchant bankers to the issue, while Link Intime India is the registrar to the offer.

    The company’s consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs 63.7 crore in the year ended March FY23, from Rs 115.5 crore in FY22. However, consolidated revenue from operations remained strong at Rs 1,553.6, increasing sharply from Rs 901.3 crore in the year-ago period.

    The company will use the proceeds to repay debts totalling Rs 432 crore while the remaining amount will be used for inorganic growth through land acquisitions and general corporate purposes.
