Route Mobile shares rose over 15 percent and hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,894.4 after Microsoft and Proximus Group signed a five-year partnership with the company for digital communications and cloud.
At 01.10 PM, shares of Route Mobile traded 13.6 percent higher at Rs 1,869. The stock has gained 18 percent in the past six months, outperforming Nifty 50 which gained a little over 10 percent during the same period. So far in June, the stock has gained over 25 percent.

This partnership, announced on Jun 27, will see Microsoft using products from Proximus' international affiliates BICS, Telesign, and Route Mobile. Meanwhile, Proximus will leverage Microsoft's Azure Cloud for AI and data innovations. According to the filing, the collaboration focuses on three key areas:
1. The partnership will enhance customer engagement and security by advancing communication platform services and digital identity solutions.
2. Proximus will migrate key platforms to Azure cloud services to improve scalability, and security, and integrate AI technologies. This will also provide Proximus engineers with a top-tier development environment.

3. Microsoft will help optimise Proximus' role as a reseller of Microsoft products in Belgium, strengthening Proximus' market position and improving customer experience.
