  • Fund targets long-term growth via listed equities and limited short positions
  • Minimum investment is Rs 10 lakh for regular, Rs 1 lakh for accredited investors

360 ONE Mutual Fund has filed draft documents for the launch of the DynaSIF Equity Long-Short Fund, its first equity-focused investment strategy under the Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) framework introduced by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

The open-ended strategy under the Dyana SIF by 360 One Mutual Fund umbrella aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in listed equities and equity-related instruments, while also using derivatives to take limited short positions. The fund will maintain a minimum equity exposure of 80 percent, with flexibility to hedge market risks and seek returns across market cycles.

Benchmarking its performance against the BSE 500 Total Return Index (TRI), the strategy is designed to be multi-cap and sector-agnostic, allowing investments across large, mid, and small-cap stocks. According to the fund house, the long-short structure is intended to capture both upside opportunities and relative underperformance through active stock selection.

The DynaSIF Equity Long-Short Fund will be managed by Harsh Aggarwal, Head of Alternative Strategies at 360 ONE Asset Management. Aggarwal brings over 18 years of experience in buy-side research and portfolio management, including managing long-short and alternative investment strategies.

During the New Fund Offer (NFO), units will be available at Rs 10 per unit. The minimum investment amount is set at Rs 10 lakh for regular investors, while accredited investors can participate with a lower threshold of Rs 1 lakh. The fund will also offer Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) and Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) facilities, subject to regulatory guidelines.
