Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd rose nearly 5% on April 15 as the firm's operational capacity rose 30% on an annual basis in FY25 to 14.2 GW.
It said its operational capacity will soon reach 15.2 GW.
Adani Green Energy Ltd added 3,309 MW through greenfield projects across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh. This includes 2,710 MW of solar and 599 MW of wind power plants.
In its provisional operational updates for FY25, Adani Green Energy said the rise in operational capacity to 14,243 MW was driven by a greenfield addition of 3,309 MW. This included the commissioning of 2,710 MW of solar power projects across key states, with major contributions from Khavda, Gujarat (1,460 MW), Rajasthan (1,000 MW) and Andhra Pradesh (250 MW).
Additionally, the company operationalised 599 MW of wind power capacity, entirely from its Khavda site.
At 11:20 am on April 15, Adani Green shares on BSE were trading 4.5% higher at Rs 934 apiece. The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 2,174 and 52-week low is Rs 758.
The market capitalisation of the stock is Rs 1.48 lakh crore.
"Sale of energy increased by 28% YoY at 27,969 mn units in FY25, backed by robust capacity addition. Steady growth in generation at a CAGR of 45% over last 5 years with increasing proportion of merchant power," said Adani Green in a stock exchange filing.
