SEBI official Sumit Agrawal and Robin Baby recently authored a book on the SEBI Act of 1992. The book titled Agarwal and Baby on Sebi Act, is the first and only comprehensive commentary on each provision of SEBI Act, providing commentary, judicial decisions, committee reports, comparison of relevant domestic and international regulatory practices relevant in the scheme of the statute.

IAbout the authors

Sumit Agrawal is an assistant legal advisor with the Integrated Surveillance Department SEBI. His work involves fraud detection and investigation of market irregularities, drafting of SEBI Orders. He has also been part of IPO Scam investigation team.

Robin Joseph Baby, assistant legal advisor with the Legal Affairs Department of SEBI. At SEBI, his work relates to issues pertaining to enforcement and legal affairs.

Both the Authors are also associated with securities law programme at Government Law College, Mumbai as Visiting Faculty.
