Kotak has come out with its first quarter (April-June’ 18) earnings estimates for the Utilities sector. The brokerage house expects Reliance Power to report net profit at Rs. 221.4 crore down 4.1% year-on-year (down 11.6% quarter-on-quarter).

Net Sales are expected to decrease by 11.8 percent Y-o-Y (down 4.2 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 2,325.5 crore, according to Kotak.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to fall by 7.1 percent Y-o-Y (down 0.2 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 1,081.3 crore.
