India's HCLTech has joined hands with Nasdaq-listed global semiconductor major AMD to develop solutions across AI, digital and cloud, a company filing said on June 24.
The strategic alliance will aim to create a digital ecosystem to offer enterprise digital transformation, and both companies will be co-investing in innovation labs and training programs.
HCLTech said the joint development centers established through this alliance will act as testbeds for advanced technologies, conducting proof-of-concept tests and speed up time-to-market for innovative tools for enterprises.
AMD said the collaboration will enable both companies to provide businesses with technology solutions to accelerate innovation. "Combining HCLTech’s expertise in digital transformation with our industry-leading EPYC, Instinct and Ryzen PRO processors will enable us to provide enterprises with customized, future-ready solutions that maximize the potential of AI, cloud computing and advanced analytics,” said Lisa Su, Chairperson and CEO of Advanced Micro Devices.
HCLTech said the collaboration will help deliver full-stack cloud innovations. "By integrating AMD’s cutting-edge silicon innovations with our deep understanding of technology, we’re enabling enterprises to stay ahead of technology trends with greater agility, performance and long-term compatibility," said C Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director, HCLTech.
The partnership will offer clients of both companies with smarter technology solutions to accelerate their digital and AI-led transformations.
