In a boost to Make-In-India push, a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies has entered into an agreement with global telecommunications company Nokia for the development and manufacturing of telecom products, the Indian company said in an exchange filing on May 7.
Dixon Electro Appliances Private Limited (DEAPL) has entered into a deal with Nokia Solutions and Networks OY, which is a supplier of sophisticated communications equipment and connectivity solutions, for the manufacturing of the products, the filing said.
The devices will be manufactured at DEAPL’s Noida facility in Uttar Pradesh, the statement said.

Atul B Lall, vice chairman and managing director, Dixon Technologies (India) said, “We are ecstatic to announce that we have partnered with an iconic brand ‘Nokia’ for undertaking development and manufacturing of Telecom products.”
