Country's third largest listed software services provider Wipro was flat on Tuesday. The company said its promoters would soon sell shares in the company through the offer for sale route.
However, the quantity and the probable date of auctioning the shares have not been disclosed.
Promoters hold 78.29 percent stake in the company as of December 2012. The sale of shares is for complying minimum public shareholding norms of 25 percent by June 2013.
At 11:57 hours IST, the stock was down just 0.18 percent to Rs 379.35 on Bombay Stock Exchange.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 462.85 and 52-week low Rs 335.10 on 05 April, 2013 and 26 October, 2012, respectively.
Currently, it is trading 18.04 percent below its 52-week high and 13.21 percent above its 52-week low.
