Gold prices rose 0.5% to Rs 75,402 on September 26: MCX Data

Gold has been trading 19.49%, higher compared to the start of the year

The price of 24-carat gold in Mumbai on September 26, 2024 was Rs 75080, while the gold rate for 22-carat was Rs 71500.

Gold prices ended at Rs 75402.00 on September 26, 2024, reflecting a 0.50 percent rise compared with the previous day, according to data released by MCX.

The yellow metal has experienced a 19.49 percent increase compared to the start of the year in the spot market.

Additionally, there has been a 29.42 percent year-over-year increase in gold prices, as reported by Moneycontrol.

It was trading higher from the previous year as well, as per Moneycontrol analysis.

For futures contracts set to expire on October 4, 2024, gold closed at Rs 75408.00 per 10 grams on September 26, 2024, a 0.19 percent jump from the previous trading day.

Gold price in Mumbai

The price of 24-carat gold in Mumbai on September 26, 2024 was Rs 75080.00, while the gold rate for 22-carat was Rs 71500.

Gold price in Delhi

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was Rs 75180.00, while 22-carat was Rs 71600.00.

Gold price in Chennai

In Chennai, 24-carat gold cost Rs 74130.00, and 22-carat gold traded at Rs 70600.00.

Gold price in Bengaluru

In Bengaluru, 24-carat gold cost Rs 75290.00 and 22-carat gold was Rs 71700.00.
