Buy HDFC, Petronet LNG; sell Berger Paints, hold PNB Housing Finance: Sudarshan Sukhani

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com is of the view that one can buy HDFC and Petronet LNG and sell Berger Paints while one can hold PNB Housing Finance.

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "It is a choppy day but we still say that let us go and buy some strength. So, HDFC and Petronet LNG are both buying opportunities. I must also explain that this is not a good day to trade anything. I think the markets will remain choppy, but at least these two could be outperformers."

"Berger Paints is a short sell. The stock had a lot of potential, apparently it is facing significant resistance, and probably looking for some kind of a correction."

"Lupin and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries are very good quality companies. Pharmaceutical itself is going in a bear market and I do not have a sense of when this bear market will end. It could end today, it could end six months later, but it will come to some conclusion. So you have to be patient for the next three years. It is too late to do anything now, too late to sell. So, the suggestion is hold on, give it its own time."

"Hold PNB Housing Finance. It is one of the better sort of financial stocks; just hold on to it," he added.
