Avoid HDFC Bank, sell Capital First, Fortis Health, Siemens; buy Ambuja Cements, Bajaj Auto: Sudarshan Sukhani

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com is of the view that one can avoid HDFC Bank and can sell Capital First, Fortis Healthcare and Siemens and can buy Ambuja Cements and Bajaj Auto.

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "HDFC Bank is in a narrow range for four days. It has gone to test its earlier highs of Rs 1,850. That test may or may not succeed. I have no idea what will happen but the chart is not bullish in the sense it is not giving us a resounding bullish pattern which says buy in any case. So I would avoid it."

"I have three sell calls today and they are Capital First, its chart is on the verge of breaking down, mimicking the Bank Nifty, little worst than the Nifty Bank. Fortis Healthcare has been a consistent sell and Siemens where the new lows are being made."

"Two buying ideas although I am not very keen; the day is confusing but not bullish. Ambuja Cements is a buying opportunity and Bajaj Auto as well but we should simply wait it out today," he added.

"I am not very upbeat on Bharti Airtel although the market keeps on suggesting that I am wrong but because I think this could be a strong resistance level, I am not looking to buy Bharti. Idea Cellular is a complete avoid in any case."

"Capital First was a short sell and that is the theme for non-banking financial companies (NBFCs); they are likely to underperform in the near term. Follow the banks which will be an underperformer."
