All you need to know about Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off nine Vande Bharat trains, including the Bengaluru-Hyderabad route, on September 24 at 12:30 pm. The other eight routes are: Udaipur-Jaipur, Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai, Vijayawada-Chennai (via Renigunta), Patna-Howrah, Kasaragod - Thiruvananthapuram, Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Puri, Ranchi-Howrah and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad.

• Train no (02703): Kacheguda (Hyderabad)-Yeswantpur (Bengaluru) Vande Bharat inaugural special (one-way) will depart from Kacheguda at 12:30 pm on September 24 and arrive at Yeswantpur at 11:45 pm.
• Commercial service of Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express will commence on September 25
• It will have stoppages at Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Kurnool City and Mahbubnagar.
• Kacheguda-Yeswantpur Vande Bharat Express (no. 20703) will depart from Kacheguda at 5:30 am and arrive in Yeswantpur at 2 pm.
• Yeswantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express (No. 20704) will leave Yeswantpur at 2:45 pm and reach Kacheguda at 11:15 pm.
• Ticket price for AC chair car (CC) from Kacheguda to Yeswantpur is Rs 1,600, while for an executive chair car (EC) it is Rs 2,915.
• Ticket fare for CC from Yeswantpur to Kacheguda is Rs 1,540, and Rs 2,865 for EC.
• Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express's travel time is 8 hours and 30 minutes ( average speed is 71kmph). Currently, the average travel time by train between Bengaluru and Hyderabad is 10-13 hours. The current fastest train between Bengaluru and Hyderabad is Yeswantpur-Delhi Duronto Express, which takes 9 hours.

• Vande Bharat service between Bengaluru and Hyderabad will be available six days a week, excluding Wednesdays.
