Adventure touring bike Royal Enfield Himalayan 452, the first look of which was unveiled by the motorcycle manufacturer on October 8, is expected to be launched in this month.
The unveil in October had displayed the production spec-version of the motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure (Rs 2.80 lakh-3.60 lakh) and BMW G 310 GS (Rs 3.25 lakh).
The unveil showcased mountain-themed graphics on a white base. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has new upside down fork and a new instrument console, according to the reveal.

A report by Autocar mentioned that the bike will have a liquid cooled engine, citing a government homologation document. The bike’s engine is rated for a peak power output of 40 horsepower at 8,000rpm (identical to the new Triumph Speed 400).
The Himalayan comes with big fork protectors on the front mudguard to enhance its offroading abilities. Both the rider's seat and the pillion seem approachable despite the bike's focus towards adventure touring.
The bike gets new fenders and an overall stance seem more muscular and purposeful, along with a big fuel tank, according to Autocar's report.
With updates to the engine it is also expected that the bike could get a few more inches of ground clearance along with more suspension travel than the existing Himalayan.
