BRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who heads a party with a “car” symbol, does not own one.
While filing his nomination from Gejwal, the BRS supremo described himself as a farmer with 53 acres of agricultural land. The fleet of 14 vehicles, including seven tractors, harvesters and goods haulers, in the name of Rao and the Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) is primarily used for agricultural purposes, according to the affidavit.
According to the affidavit, his total income was over Rs 34 lakh in the name of HUF as of March 31, 2023, and his net agriculture income was over Rs 1.44 crore, stated the affidavit. According to Deccan Chronicle, the BRS president purchased 10 acres in Venkatapur village of Markook mandal in Siddipet district in July this year at an estimated value of Rs 28.47 lakh.

Media reports suggested KCR's agricultural efforts involve investments of Rs 3.4 crore in farm equipment, non-agricultural land conversion and other related activities in Erravalli. KCR is also said to cultivate potatoes, coloured capsicum, bitter gourd and bottle gourd using greenhouse technology.
Rao declared that he had deposits to the tune of Rs 11.63 crore in different banks as of November 2, which is almost double the Rs 5.63 crore he had shown in the election affidavit submitted in 2018. His immovable assets include three houses in Banjara Hills, Erravalli and Theegalaguttapalli in Karimnagar. During his term as Telangana's CM in 2018, KCR drew criticism for purchasing a Rs 5 crore bus and changing his cavalcade's colour from black to white. Movable assets in the name of his wife Kalvakuntla Shoba grew from Rs 94.59 lakh in 2018 to Rs 6.29 crore in the last five years.
KCR declared that he had nine cases pending against him, all booked during the Telangana statehood agitation. These include allegations of snatching mikes and cameras from journalists and throwing them into the Hussainsagar Lake during the Million March. He also stated that he had not been convicted of any criminal offence.
