With the onset of winter, it tends to get even worse for some. If you’re looking for a natural cure, nutritionist Khushi Chhabra recently shared one on her Instagram account.
She wrote, “Hair fall is almost never external. 99% of the time, it starts from within. Our body tries to talk to us through weak strands, itchy scalp, excessive shedding, all signalling to our body asking for attention internally, nutritionally, not for just another shampoo swap.” To cure the problem, she recommended a “hair fall reversal” smoothie which she said was both nutritious and delicious.

How to prepare
The process is simple and requires very little: put all your seeds together in a blender along with water. Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and milky. Add a scoop of protein powder and almond butter.

Benefits of pumpkin seeds: They are a good source of zinc, which helps reduce hair fall and balance hormones that lead to hair loss. They are also rich in biotin and antioxidants, which promote hair density.
Benefits of black sesame seeds: They contain calcium, which strengthens the roots and boosts blood circulation, aiding nutrient absorption. They also have copper, B complex vitamins, and zinc, which further prevent greying and make hair roots strong.

The nutritionist recommended having it every day for breakfast to notice real changes, such as better energy, stronger hair and nails, and increased muscle mass.
