Kriti Sanon's sister Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben hosted their wedding reception at The St. Regis Mumbai on January 13, with a décor theme that leaned modern, bold and distinctly different from the pastel palettes seen at celebrity celebrations through 2025.
Designed by Ambika Gupta’s Acube Project, the concept — titled “Maison Rouge Infinity” — focused on contrast, clean structure and personal storytelling rather than heavy florals or opulence.
The ballroom was styled almost entirely in black, white and shades of grey, with red used sparingly through florals, lamps and sculptural highlights — a deliberate choice to let the accent colour carry the mood rather than overwhelm the space.

A custom twin-tree art structure and a minimal stage layout kept the room open while maintaining a bold visual focus.
Instead of the usual printed runners, the reception’s standout feature was the bespoke carpet.
With brush-stroke line work reminiscent of Van Gogh’s bold movement, it included handwritten quotes and personal text from Nupur, turning the floor into the evening’s most distinctive design element.

The details anchored the space, letting other parts stay low-key.
The place was kept dark on purpose, so key lights and flower spots could grab your eye. Gentle red lamps, candles, and flowing wave patterns spread across surfaces adding depth and mood instead of just making things bright.
Two sculptural red tree pieces flanked the stage area, amplifying the colour theme and giving the band backdrop a gallery-like presence. Behind them, immersive visuals by Chopra Designs — depicting a moon over a flowing river — added a fluid, poetic layer to the space, enhancing the sense of continuity.

The food table was cheekily titled “Graze With Love” and carried illustrations of the couple’s three pets, adding a light, family-first moment in an otherwise graphic, structured design scheme.
Maison Rouge Infinity used colour discipline, loose art inspiration and personal elements to build an atmosphere that felt modern without losing warmth.
