
The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TNTRB) has released the TN TET Result 2025 on its official website, trb.tn.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test can now check their marks, qualifying status and download the result PDF using their roll numbers.
The scorecards for TNTET Paper I and Paper II, conducted on November 15 and November 16, 2025, respectively, have been made available online. The results have been published in PDF format and include the qualifying status of candidates based on the final evaluation of OMR answer sheets.
According to the official notification, the evaluation of answer sheets has been carried out using the final answer key. The marks obtained by all candidates who appeared for TNTET 2025 have been released along with the final answer key. The result PDF clearly mentions the status as “Qualified” or “Not Qualified” against each roll number.
The notification also states that the revised and final answer keys were prepared after detailed scrutiny by subject experts. As per G.O (MS) No.23, School Education (TRB) Department, dated January 28, 2026, the decision of the subject experts regarding the final answer key is final and binding.
How to check and download TNTET 2025 result
Candidates can follow the steps below to check and download their TNTET 2025 result:
The minimum qualifying marks for TNTET 2025 differ by category. Candidates from the general category must score at least 90 marks. Those belonging to BC, BCM, MBC/DNC categories and persons with disabilities are required to secure a minimum of 75 marks. For candidates from SC, SC(A) and ST categories, the minimum qualifying mark is 60.
The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board has also stated that candidates need to secure 60 per cent marks for the general category, 55 per cent for reserved categories and 40 per cent for SC and ST candidates to qualify in the eligibility test.
Candidates who secure the prescribed minimum qualifying marks will be declared qualified and will be issued the TNTET eligibility certificate. As per the latest update, the issuance of eligibility certificates is scheduled to begin from February 2.
