PSSSB issues notice on postponement
In a short notice, PSSSB informed candidates that the written examination for Group D posts stands postponed. While the board did not share detailed reasons, it stated that the delay is due to administrative issues.
Officials said the decision was necessary to avoid inconvenience on the examination day. The board has assured applicants that the new date will be announced after reviewing the situation.
The examination will be conducted as per the same pattern and syllabus mentioned in the earlier notification. There will be no change in the structure of the test.
If admit cards were already issued, they will either be updated or reissued as required. Once the revised schedule is announced, fresh admit cards will be uploaded on the official website. Candidates will be able to download them by logging in with their registration number and password.
A new notice with details such as exam city, reporting time and instructions will also be released.

PSSSB has confirmed that the new examination schedule will be published shortly on its official portal. Applicants are advised to rely only on updates available on the official website and avoid rumours on social media.

Aspirants are advised to continue their preparation without panic. Since the syllabus and exam pattern remain unchanged, candidates can use the extra time for revision and practice tests.
They should keep their registration details ready and ensure that their contact information is correct in case the board issues any further communication.
