KVS NVS Recruitment Exam City Intimation Slip 2025 Out for Tier 1 Exam; Link Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the exam city intimation slip for the KVS and NVS Recruitment Tier One examination under Recruitment Notification. The update is for candidates who have already completed the online application process for teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

The exam city slip is now available on the official websites cbse.gov.in, kvsangathan.nic.in and navodaya.gov.in. Through this slip, candidates can check their allotted exam city, exam date and shift details to plan travel in advance. A total of 15,762 vacancies are being filled through this recruitment drive.

Tier 1 exam dates and shift timings

The Tier 1 examination will be held on two days in January 2026.

On 10 January 2026, the morning shift from 9.30 am to 11.30 am will be conducted for the posts of Primary Teacher, Junior Secretariat Assistant and Lab Attendant. The exam duration will be two hours.

On the same day, the afternoon shift from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm will be held for Multi-Tasking Staff posts under the headquarters and regional office cadre. This exam will also be of two hours.

On 11 January 2026, the morning shift from 9.30 am to 11.30 am will be for Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal and Post Graduate Teacher posts.

The afternoon shift on 11 January 2026, scheduled from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, will include Trained Graduate Teacher and miscellaneous teacher posts. This shift will also cover Librarian, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Junior Translator, Assistant Engineer, Assistant Section Officer, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Stenographer Grade One and Stenographer Grade Two posts.

Exam city details and login instructions

The examination city has already been allotted to all eligible candidates. To check the exam city, candidates must log in using their registration number, which starts with the digits 2598, along with the password created during registration. The application number should not be used for login.

The official notice clearly states that requests for a change of exam city will not be accepted under any circumstances. No separate communication regarding exam city allotment will be sent to candidates.

Candidates can follow these steps to check and download the exam city slip:

1. Visit the official portal at examinationservices.nic.in/recsys2025 or cbseit.in/cbse/2025/nvsr
2. Click on the direct recruitment drive or exam city intimation slip link on the homepage
3. Enter category, registration number or application number, date of birth and security code
4. Submit the details to view the slip on the screen
5. Check the name, exam city or state, exam date, shift and post applied for
6. Download the slip and keep a printout for reference
